Currently on the market for $1,715,000, this 5-bedroom home has beautiful finishes throughout, like in its dining room. Earthy green accents of succulents, fiddle leaf, and grasscloth add warmth to space, nicely contrasted with a statement brass chandelier and stately wainscoting and coffered ceilings.

Before & After: Chic Gold Coast Apartment Remodel

Step inside the chic apartment of local Chicagoan, Danielle Moss.

At first glance, you may imagine yourself in a contemporary Parisian pied-à-terre… but in reality: you’re in the heart of Chicago’s Gold Coast. Along with her husband, Moss transformed the previously colorful Tuscan-style one bedroom apartment into a black-and-white clad Neoclassical haven.

Within a building that was built in 1912 (by architect Benjamin Marshall, who also designed the Drake Hotel), the apartment retained original moldings and several architectural features. As co-founder of The Everygirl, Moss is no stranger to design projects and renovations, as chronicled on her blog. She also shared with My Domaine and Architectural Digest detailed inspiration and sources for her Chicago home.
