Get the Look: Niklas Hjalmarsson’s Dining Room

Last week, we shared a glimpse inside the home of (former) Blackhawks player, Niklas Hjalmarsson. (You can check out the full post here.) Located in Lakeview, the five-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion is now on the market, asking $3.199 million. The 4,600-square-foot residence features a brick and limestone exterior, with upscale finishes throughout the interior.

We especially loved the home’s dining room, which is anchored by a circular distressed wood table flanked with linen Louis XVI chairs. Other interior finishes include ceiling-to-floor window treatments and a bronzed gothic-style lantern light fixture. If you like this Lakeview dining room as much as we do, here’s how you can re-create the look in your own home!

Ex-Blackhawk Lists Lakeview Mansion for $3.199M

Days after his trade announcement, former Chicago Blackhawks player Niklas Hjalmarsson has listed his Lakeview home. The five-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion is now on the market, asking $3.199 million.

Hjalmarsson was a three-time Stanley Cup winner with the Chicago Blackhawks, and was recently traded to the Arizona Coyotes, ending a decade-long career in the Windy City.

The former Blackhawk purchased 3821 N. Wayne Ave in April 2015, paying $2.32 million for the new construction home. Hjalmarsson and his wife subsequently purchased the neighboring three-flat for $900,000, demolishing the building to use the parcel as a side yard, according to Crain’s Chicago Business. The 4,600-square-foot residence features a brick and limestone exterior, with upscale finishes throughout the interior.
