Bill and Giuliana Rancic Are Selling Their Chicago Home

One of Chicago’s most popular celebrity couples has listed their home for sale. Bill and Giuliana Rancic are selling their Gold Coast mansion, asking $6.8 million. Located at 105 E. Bellevue Place, the historic brownstone home underwent a major renovation after the Rancics purchased in 2013 for $2.125 million. The home has 5 bedrooms and 5.2 bathrooms, a full chef’s kitchen plus a pretty killer two-story master closet suite. For additional details, contact Laura Rubin Dresner (312.217.4444)

Oprah’s Old Condo Gets a Makeover

Out with Oprah, in with Oscar.

United CEO, Oscar Munoz, is the newest resident on the 57th floor of Chicago‘s Water Tower Place — and now lives in the former condo of Oprah Winfrey. As we reported earlier this year, Munoz and his wife purchased the property for $3.55 million in February, thousands less than its asking price of $3.7 million.

In the Oprah days, her former residence occupied a sprawling 9,625 square feet in Water Tower Place. But since she sold it in 2015, the space was split into multiple units and each was renovated. The condo purchased by Munoz is three-bedroom, 3,400-square-foot unit outfitted in sleek, modern design — as seen by newly released photos in Chicago Magazine.

Each of the three bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom. Other features include a powder room, a library, a family room, a wet bar area, a large kitchen, a living room and a fireplace. And don’t forget: sweeping views of Lake Michigan.

Now on the market, the 5-bedroom home at 1336 N. State has been lovingly renovated with the finest of materials and reimagined for the sophisticated buyer, who enjoys both beauty and functionality. “Experience the ease, grace, and grandeur of this spectacular home, saturated with light,” says the listing agent, Katherine Malkin.
