Its that time of year to be outside and enjoy one of America’s favorite past times. BASEBALL! And what is more fun than seeing today’s youth trying to be big leaguers? No matter the age, these players look forward to getting out to the field for that first swing of the bat. Whether they hit that homerun they always dreamed of, or go down looking, these youth players love to look into the stands and see fans cheering them on. It can make that hit all that more special, or that strike out all that less devastating. Fans can make the biggest difference, especially for those kids that feel like they have no one. Of course, coaches and managers do what they can, but fans have a special impression on kids. Having people, other than your parents, root for your success can have a profound effect on a kid’s self esteem and confidence. So, if you are walking in the park and see a youth baseball going on, take a minute and watch, and cheer on those kids. Your support could just be what a kid needs to knock one over the fence.
