#1  The Kerryman

Ireland meets River North with this classic, located at Erie and Clark on the Near North Side. Whether it’s relaxing on the mezzanine with friends after work, or enjoying their distinct Irish version of a quesadilla, The Kerryman is a must, when out and about in the River North area.

#2  The Abbey

This Northwest Side pub screams Irish meets the British Invasion.  It’s as if Paul, Ringo, and the gang had stopped in for a Guinness and had never left. The house bands flash you back to the 60’s with hits like, “Lucy in the Sky” and “Yellow Submarine.”

There are not many true “pubs” in the Wrigleyville neighborhood. The Irish Oak is only one block from Wrigley Field, and upon stepping in the door, the atmosphere immediately takes you across the pond to Ireland.  They also feature enough Guinness for just about anyone to forget about the Cubs having another losing season.
