Rappers Looking At Buying R. Kelly’s Old Recording Studio

R. Kelly’s original Chicago recording studio is for sale and multiple rappers are jumping at the deal. The West Loop landmark, infamous for hosting many of R Kelly’s ‘underage parties’, might be the new home for such rappers as Travis Scott. Rappers and musicians from L.A. are vying to own the building despite negative publicity surrounding the former studio.

With the kickoff of Scott’s worldwide Astroworld Tour this weekend at The United Center, the “Sicko Mode” star might be too busy to put an offer in. Other possible contenders in tow to purchase the property are Chicago natives Chance the Rapper and Vic Mensa as well as Jay Z.
