Taste of River North: July 21 – 23, 2017

Friday, July 21st, 5 pm- 10 pm | Saturday, July 22nd, 12 PM – 10 PM | Sunday, July 23rd,11 AM – 8 PM

If you enjoy food from local restaurants, like to shop from local vendors, and love a good musical lineup, (check that out HERE) join the crowd at Ward Park for the Taste of River North. It’s happening this weekend on the corner of N Kingsbury & W Erie. While admission is free, there’s a suggested donation of $5.

Family Day by The PrivateBank Fire Pitch: July 22, 2017

Kaleidoscope Family Art Festival: July 22, 2017

Remember this? Well we’re calling all artists and artists at heart. This is a family affair. Make art and explore special activity stations during Kaleidoscope Family Festival in the Ryan Education Center at the Art Institute of Chicago. Admission for this event is FREE.

Taste of Gospel in Washington Park: July 22, 2017

10 am – 7 pm at at 5100 S Cottage Grove

Taste of Gospel is hosted by radio personalities Effie Rolfe from Urban praise Radio and comedian BLT from 106.3 FM. The Taste will feature 25 amazing gospel artists alongside 23 outstanding restaurants, selling delicious food and soulful music in Washington Park. Find discount tickets at Goldstar. All proceeds go towards the 3:16 Scholarship fund.

49th Annual Sheffield Avenue festival: July 22 – 23, 2017

12 pm – 10 pm at N Sheffield and Webster

Sheffield Music Festival & Garden Walk features self-guided tours of over 80 gardens, two stages of live entertainment by some of Chicago’s own, guided architectural tours, food and drink, and a plethora of activities for the kids at Kids’ Corner. Donations are $10. The great thing is, all proceeds will go to the continued support for neighborhood schools, local institutions, and community projects, as well as the maintenance of Sheffield as the Garden District of Chicago.

The Magic Parlour Magic Show: July 22 – Aug 18, 2017

The Magic Parlour is in its sixth year and welcomes you to an evening of magical intimacy by an award-winning magician. The event is held in the historic Palmer House Hilton Hotel. Cocktail attire is suggested.

Comedy Dinner Show: July 22 – Sept 9, 2017

Authoress Samara Lynch Book Release Party: July 22, 2017
