With so much construction going on in Chicago, we love seeing the progress of fresh new buildings.

The apartment high rise located at 200 N. Michigan Avenue will cost $89 million to build. The construction is close to being finished, too! Within 9 months, this time-lapse shows how much has been built and needless to say, it’s plenty!

The project is developed by the John Buck Company and designed by bKL Architecture. The new 41-story tower will offer 402 rental units located in the heart of downtown Chicago.

The building will also include 24,900-square-feet of retail on the bottom two floors. Nice!

Loop office worker Andy Krakos has been taking photographs of the construction every single day for the last nine months. This video shows 200 N. Michigan Avenue finally taking shape. The building named MILA (which stands for for Michigan and Lake), will be finished by next year.
