Who wouldn’t want to live in the famous Scarface mansion?
The home of the 1983 classic hit the market last year for $35 million. The mansion is located in Santa Barbara, California. There were people interested in the property but didn’t want to spend that amount. Of course, $35 million?
And now the Scarface Mansion Reduced Its Price To WHAT? $17.8 million. Talk about a major decrease.
The luxurious home was designed by American architect Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue. The mansion is 10,000-square-feet surrounded by 10 acres of Persian gardens, pools, and patios. Nice!
Russian billionaire, Sergey Grishin, is the owner of the property. He scooped the place up back in 2008 for $6.23 million. He reduced the price because he has lost faith in the property’s culture. We suppose people are turned off by the famous movie because the listing doesn’t even mention Scarface anymore!
The home is a Mediterranean Revival masterpiece. It offers 4-bedroom and 9-bathrooms. It is painted with gold-leaf ceilings, tiled rooms, woodwork and carvings, and a pool with a lounge and fountains. There is also a library, a conversation room, and a spa.
When the mansion was first put on the market, the owner offered the home to be rented for $30,000 a month. Not bad, right?
