Most expensive rental properties in Chicagoland

According to Chicago Curbed, here are the cheapest and most expensive Chicago neighborhoods where you can find expensive rental properties:

 

Time for a reality check: here are the cheapest, and most expensive neighborhood areas to rent one and two bedroom apartments in Chicago. The last time we took a look at the median apartment rent prices in the city, we only has a snapshot of the North Side, however, rental search site Zumper has pulled through on the latest map and created infographics that cover the entire city. The info shows median apartment prices from the month of May, which gives us a pretty darn good idea of how much places are renting for in Chicago right now. The map isn’t broken up into individual neighborhoods, but rather community areas, and once again, the Near North Side, which contains River North, the Gold Coast and Streeterville reigns as the priciest neighborhood to live in Chicago. South Side neighborhoods take the lead on the most affordable neighborhoods to live in, but also several northwest side nabes are quite reasonable.
